Luxurious new carpets at Wharton Lock apartment

Part 2 of the Wharton Lock Refurbishment

As soon as you walk through the door of the 4* Gold Wharton Lock Apartment you will notice the fresh new "soft-feel" carpets, they give a real spring to your step with a 10mm soundproof underlay. Coloured "Gold" it compliments the complete feeling of luxury within the apartment. Preparation for these new carpets came with the help of two of our "offspring" - First Keith came up for the middle weekend of the renovations and, together with Graham, took on the job of shortening all eight of the fire doors. Quite a task but at least they were done before the carpet went down.

Although the carpets were to be fitted first thing on Wednesday morning, which would allow us a day to fit and hem all the curtains before the QiT assessment, they were in fact fitted on Wednesday afternoon! This meant a long evening and night working on the curtains, I would rather be tucked up in bed at 4am not hemming curtains! - thanks to Amy for all your help.
